In the best tradition, BecomeAnXcoder is released as a free booklet in PDF format under a CC Attribution license. It is written by Bert Altenburg, author of AppleScript for Absolute Starters, in co-operation with Alex Clarke and Philippe Mougin.

This book aims to take you relatively painlessly through an introduction to the fundamental concepts in programming the Mac using Xcode and Objective-C. It assumes no prior programming knowledge and is provided free of charge by CocoaLab.com.
